"Želnid" on auction on June 13

Privatization Agency has announced that it will offer Belgrade-based railway publishing-newspaper company "Želnid" for sale on auction on May 13, at starting price of 24.3m RSD.

According to the ad published in daily newspaper "Politika", the buyer will take on the obligation to invest minimum of 39.7m RSD in that company, and the estimated value of capital is 151.9m RSD.

Deposit for participation in the auction is 12.1m RSD and deadline for submission of applications in June 5th.

"Želnid" deals with publishing of books and brochures, and its most important products are forms for "Serbian Railways", timetable forms, books and other goods.

The property of that company includes machines, bookbinding press, passenger and freight vehicle, office equipment and furniture. It has 135 workers, 15 of whom are faculty graduates.

In 2006, "Želnid" realized incomes in amount of 137.8m RSD, while expenses amounted to 137m RSD.
