– We are continuing with the expansion of Batrovci and now we've secured RSD 460 million from the budget. There will be a total of 18 lanes with an additional parking lot – said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction Zorana Mihajlovic.
She added that a special parking lot for impounded vehicles will be built, as they are now parked in one of the current lanes.
The minister said that the works would be completed within the deadline and added that Batrovci was the busiest crossing border in the country.
The works are being carried out by Ingrap-Omni, the investor is the Building Directorate of Serbia, and the project has been prepared by the Institute of Transportation CIP.
