Italy's ICBPI buys owner of Serbian companies Bassilichi CEE and Ars Blue – Value of transaction EUR 230 million

Italy's ICBPI (Istituto Centrale delle Banche Popolari Italiane S.p.A.), which specializes in providing monetary, financial and security services, has bough 100% of the value of the company Bassilichi S.p.A, whose ownership also includes two Serbian companies – Bassilichi CEE and Ars Blue.

The value of the transaction is EUR 230 million, the joint statement says.

Through this acquisition, the two Serbian companies have become part of the global network of ICBPI, one of the most important European players in the domain of providing financial services.

This transaction, as the statement adds, will enable ICBPI to further expand its expertise and client pool in the Italian market, as well as provide additional benefits regarding payment and all financial services.

At the same time, Bassilichi S.p.A. will keep its corporate identity and add to ICBPI group the expertise in the domain of lease and sale services, installing and providing technical support for ATMs and POS terminals.
