Construction of Promenada shopping mall in Novi Sad to begin in late March 2017

The works on the corner of Oslobodjenja Blvd and Cara Lazara Blvd at Spens in Novi Sad should start by the end of March, as confirmed by NEPI. The Promenada shopping mall will be built there, which should open for customers by the end of 2018.

The urban plan has been approved, and other necessary permits are expected, representatives of the investor say.

– The beginning of the works depends on acquiring the permits. The procedure of issuing location requirements is in progress, and we expect the works to start in late March, 2017, in line with the plan – Nemanja Savcic of NEPI explains for eKapija.

More than EUR 60 million will be invested in the new shopping mall, and around 1,500 citizens of Novi Sad might be employed there. The project has been harmonized with the conditions required by the urban planners, and the tender for contractors is being prepared.
