Development Agency of Vojvodina to be founded

At yesterday's session, the Provincial Government confirmed the draft decision of the Provincial Assembly on the foundation of the Development Agency of Vojvodina and submitted it to the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina for adoption.

The Development Agency of Vojvodina is to be founded as a limited liability company in order to provide support to carrying out development policy, agricultural policy and rural development policy, as well as other public policies in line with the law, to the end of accelerating the economic development of Vojvodina.

The founder of the Development Agency of Vojvodina is the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, and the founder's rights are exercised by the Provincial Government, unless otherwise defined by the decision on the foundation.

The seat of the Development Agency of Vojvodina will be located in Novi Sad.
