Filip Zepter gave up procurement of Sugar Factory "Zrenjanin"

Zrenjanin-based sugar plant has not managed to find the buyer, and the only interested bidder, Filip Zepter, gave up procurement of the oldest sugar plant, which was offered for sale on a tender.

The state owns the package of 60.54% of stocks in the Zrenjanin sugar plant, while the rest belongs to minor stockholders. Concerning the fact that the factory failed to find the buyer in its second attempt, more than 200 workers will be left without jobs and the stocks of the company will lose their value.
