Privatization of Jat Tehnika in 2017 – Decision on concession of Nikola Tesla Airport soon

Mayor of Belgrade Sinisa Mali, who is also the chairman of the Air Serbia Supervisory Board, has announced that the privatization of Jat Tehnika is being worked on.

He added that it could be expected for the issue to be solved by the end of the year.

– Jat Tehnika is a company with great potential – Mali added.

He also said that the decision on how and when the process of concession of the Nikola Tesla Airport was to be initiated was expected to be reached in the next few weeks.

Mali said that the decision about the concession of the Belgrade Airport was expected, so that a lot of money could be invested in its development and the enhancement of its infrastructure and so that a big and renowned company might take over its management.

He added that there was room for enhancing the quality of services and infrastructure at the Airport, as well as for the potential construction of a new runway.
