Capacity of new factory "Knauf" in Zemun - 40,000 t of materials in one shift

- Newly built factory for production of material for finishing works in civil engineering ,“Knauf” in Zemun, was put in operation on April 2nd. The annual capacity of this factory is up to 40,000 tons of materials in one shift - said Executive Manager Milutin Ivanović.

The products of the new factory will be offered on the market under two trademarks - "knauf" and "marmorit". The first includes building chemical products and glue for ceramic tiles, while the second trademark - "marmorit", which had its premiere at the Building Fair in Belgrade, includes regular and flexible glues for ceramic tiles, mechanical mortars, mortars for interior and cement syringes.

The products of "Marmorit" were first used in construction of facilities in the University Village in New Belgrade.

Ivanović announced introduction of 20 new products by the end of the year, creation of logistic center, introduction of silos and stock of goods, as well as construction of administrative building.

At the presentation at the Building Fair, he said that that factory possessed the up-to-date ecological filters, so that the maximum emmission of of powder materials amounted to 20 mg per cubic meter.
