Second tender for Leskovac-based "Jugekspres"

For privatization of Leskovac-based "Jugekspres", which currently has 250 employees, and the value of capital is about 420m RSD, Privatization Agency has announced a new tender because there were no bidders on the first one. Last year, "Jugekspres" registered loss in amount of 136.08m RSD, 80% larger than in 2006 when the business income amounted to 202.1m RSD and expenses were 261.1m RSD.

According to the data provided by the privatization adviser, which consists of BPA - London and "Zastava partneri", this company has 70 vehicles, 45 of which are in order.

While waiting for privatization of this, once famous, transportation company, 60 young drivers and conductors got jobs, and about 400 workers left the company in the two rounds of realization of social program, mainly conductors and drivers who have few years left until retirement.
