Viber, one of the leading messaging apps, has announced that Djamel Agaoua will be taking over CEO duties, the company's press release says.
Agaoua will lead Viber in its efforts to enhance the development of innovative new functions and expand the global user base of this platform.
Djamel Agaoua joins Viber after having performed CEO duties in MobPartner, a successful global mobile ad company, which was acquired by Cheetah Mobile in March 2015.
– I am beyond proud to join this team, and to help Viber in its most important mission – providing an amazing experience to our users and helping them connect with those who are important to them. I look forward to leading Viber in accelerating innovation and developing new opportunities for high growth – Agaoua says.
