Direktna Banka Kragujevac buys Findomestic Banka Beograd

Direktna Banka a.d. Kragujevac has bought 100% ownership of Findomestic Banka a.d. Beograd from Findomestic Banca SpA italy, a member of the global banking system BNP Paribas, the Kragujevac bank reported.

The banks, where merger under the name of Direktna Banka is expected to take place in the summer of 2017. will have a unified national retail network with over 45 offices, more than 350 employees and the property worth close to EUR 200 million, the report says.

The transaction is a part of Direktna Banka's expansion plans, the aim of which is to position it as the leading bank for small and medium enterprises and natural persons in Serbia.
