"Moeller" plans construction of new unit in Sremska Mitrovica for production of elements for electric power supply

German concern "Moeller", with the headquarters in Bohn, intends to have a new unit built at 1,500 square meters in industrial zone in Sremska Mitrovica by the end of the year. This unit will be producing elements for electric power supply, which will enable creation of new jobs.

"Moeller" started production of elements for electric power supply in Sremska Mitrovica few yars ago, in a rented hall, with only 15 workers, and then, only two years later, it managed to build modern, modernly equipped production hall, at surface of 3,500 square meters, with 1,000 workers.

Manager of the office of the National Employment Agency in Sremska Mitrovica, Todor Kuzmančević, said that the Republic Ministry of Economy and Regional Development had invested 560,000 EUR in realization of that project, which had enabled hiring of 260 of total of 1,000 workers in the unit of "Moeller".

Concern "Moeller" is present in 90 countries and it has over 8,000 employees.
