Hemofarm acquires Velexfarm in Serbia

Hemofarm has acquired the Belgrade-based wholesale pharmaceutical company Velexfarm, as eKapija learns.

– Following the approval by the Commission for Protection of Competition, Hemofarm became the 100% owner of Velexfarm. The change has been registered at the Serbian Business Registers Agency as well, and all the data is publicly available. The format and the activities of Velexfarm will remain unchanged, and Hemofarm will honor all obligations from the contract with the suppliers and purchasers – Hemofarm has confirmed exclusively for our portal.

As the company adds, Hemofarm has taken all necessary measures in order for business partners, clients, the market as a whole and the end users of the products not to be affected by the changes in the ownership structure.

Let us remind that Hemofarm also acquired Ivancic i Sinovi in August 2016.
