KRAVCHENKO: NIS to invest EUR 1 billion by 2020

CEO of Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS), Kirill Kravchenko, talked with President Tomislav Nikolic today and announced new investments of NIS in the total amount of EUR 1 billion in the next three years.

Kravchenko informed Nikolic of NIS' operations in the previous year. It was recognized that, despite the low prices of oil in the world markets, NIS' net profit in 2016 was on the 2015 level.

Furthermore, regular tax payment is being carried out without interruptions, which President Nikolic assessed as extremely important, reported the Press Center of the president of Serbia.

Kravchenko especially pointed out that NIS had adopted a three-year business plan and accordingly announced new investments in the total amount of EUR 1 billion in the next three years. Furthermore, new investments of partners NIS works with are expected.

Nikolic and Kravchenko also talked about future NIS business projects, the report says.
