Gorenje expects sales to continue growing in 2017

The Gorenje Group had sales revenues of around EUR 1.26 billion in 2016, which is 2.6% more than in 2015, whereas the net profit is estimated at EUR 8 million, according to the first data about last year's operations published by the Slovenian producer of household appliances on January 13, 2017.

Gorenje managed, through a good sales structure, as well as a good expenditure control, to improve the EBITDA, and the estimate is that it will amount to EUR 87 million, which is 8.6% more than in 2015, Gorenje says.

The company points out that last year was marked by successful operations in the core field of household appliances, where a growth of sales was achieved through an improvement of the geographical and product structure, whereas the sale of premium, innovative and small household appliances was strengthened – Wisebroker writes.

As they say, the company strengthened its market position in Russia, Ukraine, East Europe, Benelux, Australia, Asia and USA. Gorenje announces a growth of revenues and profitability in the current year and they estimate that sales revenues will grow by 4.6%.
