"Calzedonia" finally arrived in Sombor - construction of production units to start

"Calzedonia" from Verona, which holds a significant place in production of underwear, socks and bathing suits and has production units in Italy, Shri Lanka, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria and production chains in Europe and America, has arrived in Sombor. Soon, when necessary permits are obtained, "Calzedonia" will invest 20m EUR in production units in Sombor.

The first factory for production of women’s lingerie, at 12,000 square meters, will have about 400 workers. At recently ended Employment Fair in Sombor, Italian company sought 100 tailors to be trained in the training center. "Calzedonia" plans to have a factory for production of women’s socks built in this city, and that factory should also employ 400 workers.

This company rented 10 ha in industrial zone in Municipality of Sombor and it will get financial support from NIP in amount of 2,000 EUR per employee.
