Mirovic hosts delegation of Chinese Businessmen in Vojvodina – Great potential in tourism

The president of the Provincial Government, Igor Mirovic, talked yesterday with the delegation of Chinese Businessmen in Vojvodina, headed by Zou Junhui, about enhancing the cooperation of China and Serbia, including Vojvodina.

They pointed to the importance of the friendship and cooperation between the two countries and emphasized their belief that the relations would develop even further in the future and contribute to the realization of concrete projects.

Mirovic pointed out that he expected the cooperation between the two countries to strengthen in all fields and pointed out that the priority activities of the Provincial Government were oriented towards attracting investments, arrival of business partners and employment.

– China is an important partner to us, as proved by significant business results for both countries. This is an encouraging fact and it's important that as many Chinese businessmen as possible arrive to Serbia – Mirovic said and added that there were prepared infrastructural projects, and especially highlighted the potential lying in tourism.

Zou Junhui pointed out that the traditional friendship which characterizes the two peoples is a good foundation for enhancing the cooperation in economy, science and technological development and culture.

Representatives of the Association of Chinese Businessmen in Vojvodina and the Confucius Institute emphasized the importance of the support given to them by Vojvodina regarding their foundation and pointed out that their goal was to contribute to the strengthening of the totality of the cooperation between Chine and Serbia, including the Province of Vojvodina.

In addition to said fields, there's a possibility of cooperation in the field of manufacturing and automotive industries, and the guests from China expressed interest in cooperating with Serbian companies and their presence in the Chinese market.
