Minister of Economy and Regional Development, Mlađan Dinkić, announced today (April 8, 2008) that the invitiation for sale of Sremska Mitrovica-based company "Matroz" in bankruptcy on auction would be announcd in ten days or so.

The company owns factory halls, machines for production of paper and cellulose and two stores in Sremska Mitrovica, which are closed.

Dinkić visited units "Melere" and "Metalfera" in industrial zone "Voganjski put" in Sremska Mitrovica, which are the largest foreign investment in this region.

Pointing to the importance of construction of these two production units and expressing Government's willingness to back their further development plans, Dinkich said that Sremska Mitrovica was going to become serious industrial center once again.
