President of the biggest bank OTP, Šandor Čanji, announced that, in case that bank decided to continue investments abroad, the two most important countries for investment would be Serbia and Ukraine. Čanji said that the details related to investments could be announced next month. Talking about investments, Čanji mentioned Niška banka, in which OTP was interested and sent the offer for it in April 2005.

Čanji also talked about takeover of one bank from Croatia.
