Don Don opening new bread factory in Kragujevac – Investment worth EUR 10 million

The Slovenian company Don Don, which has been the majority owner of Kragujevac’s Zitoprodukt, is planning to open a modern toast bread factory in Kragujevac in the first half of 2017.

The capacity of the factory, which will be supplying the markets of Serbia, Slovenia, Croatian and Bulgaria with this type of bread, will be 100,000 pieces a day. The investment has been estimated at around EUR 10 million.

According to the latest information from the company, Don Don is planning to purchase a new steam oven and locate the production of daily fresh special breads in Kragujevac. An expansion of retail activities is also planned, both in the heart of Sumadija and throughout Serbia, as well as of the distribution network in Romania and Bulgaria.
