First regional conference of managers of southeast Europe in Portorož, creation of "Southeast Europe Davos"

Managers of southeast Europe have invited the governments of the countries in the region to examine measures for liberalization of moving and hiring of managers by, among the rest, revoking visas in the countries of western Balkans. At the first regional conference of managers of southeast Europe, which was held on April 4 in Portorož, managers agreed that the visa liberalization at the level of EU would have significant influence on development of managerial staff.
According to the words of Danijel Pantić, vice president of Serbian Association of Managers, all participants in the conference in Portorož, about 250 members of professional managerial associations from the territory of former Yugoslavia, backed and encouraged the process of European integrations of all countries in the region, especially Serbia.
As Pantić pointed out, it is agreed that this meeting should grow into some kind of regional Davos, where managers from all countries in the region could exchange their experiences, take positions about relevant economic issues and create conditions for more successful operations in partnership with the governments.
It should be pointed out that the eminent professors of law and economy from Harvard held the lectures at the conference.
