Tender announced for sale "Stari Tamiš" from Pančevo - deadline for submission of bids is June 23

Privatization AGency has announced tender for sale of agricultural company "Stari Tamiš" from Pančevo.

Total of 70% of capital of that company, which deals with production, processing and sale of husbandry crops, growing of pigs and cattle and production and sale of milk, is offered for sale.

The deadline for submission of bids is June 23rd. All companies that are in the same business for minimum last three years and whose incomes in 2007 was minimum 15m EUR can bid on the tender, as well as investors whose incomes exceeded 30m EUR.

"Stari Tamiš" has about 220 workers and has nearly 4,000 ha of cultivable land at its disposal, 1,100 ha of which are public property.
