Univerzal banka's profit - 556m RSD

Univerzal banka realized gross profit in amount of 556.2m RSD in 2007, which is the increase by 8% when compared to the previous year, while balance assets grew by 122.9%.

The profitability presented through return on equity – ROE (11.99%), and return on assets – ROA (3.09%), kept Univerzal Banka close to the top in the banking sector in Serbia in 2007.

Thanks to the activities involving collecting of new deposits and increase in numbe of clients, deposits reached the amount of 14,786m RSD on December 31st, 2007, which is the growth by nearly 250% in comparison with the state 12 months earlier.

On the basis of the 17th issue of stocks and issue of new stocks from the profit in year 2006, the bank's capital was increased by about 49%.
