Mini Pani expanding its system – First franchise facilities in Croatia open

Mini Pani, which produces and distributes frozen pastry, has opened its first franchise facilities in Croatia.

Mini Pani bakeries have so far opened in Pozega, Slavonski Brod and Cakovec.

As announced early this year, potential franchisees in Croatia are offered three formats – spot-bakery, shop-in-shop, and a commercial “island” designed for shopping malls.

As the provider of the franchise, Mini Pani guarantees a timely logistics support – the delivery of the baked goods to the sales outlet without interruptions in the cold chain, whereas the franchisee prepares and bakes the goods in line with the predefined instructions. This way, as the company says, products are guaranteed to be of consistent quality.

A potential franchisee is supposed to secure a sales outlet of 5-20 m2 in a busy spot. The sales outlet is equipped with help by experts and advice of Mini Pani's field workers.

Franchisees are given a spot-oven, a pastry display case and exclusive rights in a given territory.

– We are preparing to open new locations in early 2017, and we will focus on the Croatian seaside from spring – says Kornelia Sild-Ferenc, sales and marketing manager at Mini Pani.

The fact that the franchise doesn't require considerable investments is cited as one of Mini Pani's main advantages. Furthermore, compared to other similar systems, the franchise features a wider range of products, including pies and croissants, but also squeezed juices and coffees, in addition to the regular offer.

Mini Pani operates successfully in Serbia, Hungary, Montenegro, Macedonia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina as well.
