Vesko Filipović, deputy chief executive of "Beogradski vodovod i kanalizacija"

Vesko Filipović is the deputy CEO of "Beogradski vodovod i kanalizacija". He was born in Užice. After he finished two years at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Filipović moved to Faculty of Economy and graduated from management department. He gained his life and work experience in "Beogradski vodovod", where he works since 1982. He was on all positions, from the Head of the department, Head of the unit, deputy manager of the sector, to the deputy CEO, all that during 20 years of work in this public company with over 3,000 employees.

Company "Beogradski vodovod i kanalizacija" was founded in 1892 when the first facilities, designed by the project of engineer Oskar Smreker from Manheim, were put into operation. Some time later, in 1905, the sewerage system was introduced. This year, the company will celebrate its 116th birthday.
