"WEG" products to become global brand - cooperation established with "Metro group"

Many years of successful cooperation of company "WEG Technology" with "Metro Serbia" and "Metro Croatia" will be crowned with the signing of the international contract with Metro group. WEG products will be sent from 2,200 "Metro" distribution centers to the markets of 31 countries.

LCD TV sets and vacuum cleaners with sign "Made in Serbia" will be among these products by the end of the year.

- Only three years after trademark WEG was launched, WEG products are becoming global brand! In very short time, the company achieved two strategic goals. It has become the leader in southeast Europe in field of sale, distribution and production of technical goods with constant broadening of assortment in accordance with the market demands and latest technological trends. This company has offices in Bosnia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Greece and Bulgaria.

According to announcement, Republic Development Fund approved funds to the company for construction of factory, which represents a significant stimulus to development of national economy. In addition to creation of new jobs, "WEG" will most certainly contribute to growth of export and reduction of foreign-trade deficit.

Company "WEG Technology" will open its fifth WEG retail facility on April 3rd in New Belgrade (93 Nehruova Street).
