The IMDb has published the list of 10 most popular movies in 2016, with the caveat that the list is not based on reviews and box-office earnings, but on the number of page hits, none of which, of course, testifies as to the quality of the movie.

Numerous blockbusters have been panned in 2016, among them Suicide Squad, Warcraft and X-Men: Apocalypse. Nevertheless, these three are among the most popular movies in the IMDb list.

For example, The Legend of Tarzan, a failure with both critics and audiences, placed 10th.
