Government approves introduction of 23 innovative drugs – Tender for procurement expected

Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar said on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, that the Government of Serbia had approved the introduction of 23 innovative drugs to the reimbursement list.

– These are expensive drugs. We are preparing a strategy for the next four years. We want to make everything that the patients demand, and that the state is capable of securing, available to our patients – Loncar said.

The invitation for tender is expected now.

The procedure is that it is possible to open a tender, as special contracts have been signed with producers of innovative drugs and authorized by the Central Commission, the Managing Board of the National Health Insurance Fund, the Ministry of Health and the Government of Serbia.
