"Farmakom MB" bought mine "Lece" for 771m RSD

Concern "Farmakom MB" from Šabac bought Medveđa-based lead, zinc and gold mine "Lece" in bankruptcy yesterday (March 31, 2008) for 771.09m RSD, that is, 9.4m EUR.
This mine was sold at the starting price, and future owner has three days to sign the sales contract and then 20 days to pay the price.
With this purchase, "Farmakom" will get the mine without miners because when the property of some company in bankruptcy is being sold, the buyer has no obligations towards workers. By the way, miners from this mine left the shafts long time ago and they had not been paid for years.
The money from the sale of property will be used for returning of debts to the creditors. Earlier claims amounted to 7.4 billion RSD, but that amount is now reduced to 217m RSD.
In addition to mother export-import company, the business system of Šabac-based concern, owned by Miroslav Bogićević, includes mines and smelter "Zajača", mine "Suva ruda", foundry "Požega", Industrial Combine Guča, Factory of car batteries "Sombor", PIK "7.jul" and Dairy "Šabac".
