Ministry of Health announces reconstruction of clinical centers of Serbia, Vojvodina and Kragujevac – Tenders for construction works soon

The Ministry of Health of Serbia has published previous invitations, thereby effectively announcing that a public invitation for the reconstruction of three clinical centers – Serbia, Vojvodina and Kragujevac – will be placed in 2017.

The public invitations will be published in the Official Journal of the European Union and the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia.

The projects will be financed by the European Investment Bank, with which the Republic of Serbia has signed an agreement on the modernization, enhancement and expansion of four tertiary hospitals in Serbia.

The Clinical Center of Serbia is looking at the renovation and expansion of the current central hospital building (with a total area of around 86,000 m2), as well as the construction of technical blocks A, B and D, the construction of a parking lot and exterior development.

When it comes to the Clinical Center of Vojvodina, the planned works pertain to the reconstruction and expansion of the current hospital building with a total gross area of around 33,200 m2, the extension of the warm connection and the construction of new technical blocks T1 and T2, a parking lot and exterior development.

The reconstruction of the Clinical Center of Kragujevac entails the completion of the main project and the construction of a new technical block, a medical waste facility and the reconstruction of the entire techno-economic block with a change of purpose and ground floor development.

Previous invitations were published on December 12, 2016, and the public procurement procedures will be carried out at least 30 days from that date, it was reported.
