"Eko-tank" started production of bio-fuel in Šabac - jobs for 70 workers

Belgrade-based company "Eko-tank" has started construction of unit for production of bio fuel in Šabac.

This company bought factory PVC, a part of "Zorka". Projected production in the first phase will be 50,000 tons of bio fuel per year and, after construction is completed, the capacity will be doubled.

Part of the equipment for former factory PVC and storage capacities will be redirected to be used for new technology. Total of 70 workers will get job in the factory of bio-fuel. By the way, factory PVC was built according to the US technology, but it stopped production in mid-1990's. The market for bio-fuel from this factory has already been provided, and there should be no problems with raw materials.

In the region of Mačva, corn will be planted on the major share of total of about 50,000 ha.
