Croatian Agrokor wants to buy stocks of Dijamant

Croatian Food Combine Agrokor officially announced that it was ready to purchase stocks of Oil Factory Dijamant, which are in the posession of the Southeast Europe Investment Fund.
According to the words of director general of Dijamant, Sava Knežević, Zrenjanin-based oil manufacturer entered the long-term business cooperation with Agrokor long ago. At the beginning of the year, the Southeast Europe Investment Fund became the strategic partner of the oil factory after it purchased 26.9% of stocks.
By the way, Dijamant invested €10m in production of oil products this year. It is expected that the crop on contracted surfaces of about 90,000 ha planted with oleaceous plants and 30,000 ha planted with soybean will be very good. The works on adaptation of silo in Odžaci, which is intended for storing of soybean, is underway. At the moment, Kikinda-based mill purchases and stores contracted quantities of wheat. Set price of wheat is 7.5 CSD, whereas the announced price of oleaceous plants is 13 CSD. At this moment, Dijamant invests in expansion of the production units. The biggest investment worth €11m is being prepared for realization in the refining unit. That investment will enable refining of over 1,000 tons of oleaceous plants on daily basis.
