– This problem exceeds the capabilities of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure and needs to be raised to the highest level – said Dusan Nikolic, president of the Serbian Association of International Road Hauliers – MT, at the 16th General Assembly and invited businessmen to keep that problem in mind, as well as the problem of an insufficient number of trained drivers, when expanding their rolling stocks and their operations.
He added for Danas that the insufficient number of permits was the latest band of sanctions towards Serbia, as there were few European countries dealing with the same problem, and emphasized that diplomatic activities and activities of the highest representatives were needed so that more room would be secured for our transporters and goods in foreign markets.
