Government approved of founding of company "Ski center Brezovica"

According to the plan of Company with limited liability "Ski Center Brezovica", total of 60m RSD will be invested in revitalization of ski tracks and renovation of several hotels on Brezovica mountain. Founding of aforementioned company was approved yesterday (March 27, 2008) by the Government of Serbia.

Company "Ski Center Brezovica" is formed by "Skijališta Srbije" and "Fond Inex".

According to the plan, the property and workers from the Brezovic ski center, owned by "Inex", will be transferred to a new company, and "Skijališta Srbije" will provide management activities and assistance in preparation of the ski center.

Three-year program for development and rehabilitation of Brezovica will be designed soon, for the purpose of which 3.2 billion RSD were set aside, and this ski center should be prepared for privatization.

Serbia does not give up the ownership oof ski center on Brezovica and it intends to give the lead role in privatization process to the Republic Privatization Agency.

"Inex ski center Brezovica" has three hotels - "Narcis", "Molika" and "Breza", with the capacities for few thousand tourists, nine ski lifts, with ski tracks on up to 2,500 meters above the sea level. The longest track - "Lavlja vrata", is nearly 4 km long.
