Negotiations to start with Greeks about sale of glass factory in Pančevo

Privatization Agency has announced today (March 27, 2008) that it will start negotiations with Greek company "YIOULA Glassworks" about sale of Glass Industry "Pančevo".

Since it is the tender with one participant, the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development will form a committee for negotiations with the only bidder on the tender.

This is the third tender for sale of Pančevo-based glassworks, and the two previous ones were announced in 2003 and in 2005.

Pančevo-based factory produces safety glass, car glass, glass for household appliances, civil engineering and special purposes, as well as ampullas and bottles for pharmaceutical industry.
