Germany's Fiers Texem orders million meters of textile from Yumco – Large growth of export of textile expected in 2017

Representative of the German company Fiers Texem Detlef Fischer signed a contract on the purchase of a million meters of textile with the management of Pamucni Kombinat Yumco.

Spokeswoman of the Vranje company, Gordana Savic, said that the textile for the German partner would be delivered in the first quarter of 2017, and that the value of the arrangement was equal to Yumco's annual textile production.

The contracted production of 1,000 kilometers of textile for the German company is equal to the distance between Vranje and Ljubljana.

According to the president of the Supervisory Board, Dr Branislav Popovic, the production in Yumco will double next year, thereby contributing to a large growth of the export of textile products.

It was announced that a contract on new business arrangements with the German company would be signed in January.
