American online retail giant Amazon has recently presented the “smart” store Amazon Go. As the company says on its website, the first such supermarket opened in Seattle and is for now only available to employees, whereas it will be made available to other consumers in early 2017.

In order to be able to shop at Amazon Go, customers will have to install an app on their phones. The app enables the customer to fill the cart just like in any other store and then to leave without checking at a cash register.

– Our Just Walk Out technology automatically detects when products are taken from or returned to the shelves and keeps track of them in a virtual cart. When you’re done shopping, you can just leave the store. Shortly after, we’ll charge your Amazon account and send you a receipt – the report says.
