Auction for FOD postponed until April 11

The auction for sale of Factory of Equipment and Parts (FOD), which was scheduled for March 21, is postponed until April 11. According to initial plan, the property of the company would be sold at the starting price of 179.9m RSD, the required deposit would amount to 18m RSD, and the tender documentation would cost 40,000 RSD.

People in FOD explain that the reasons for postponement are technical errors made during the designing of the company's selling documentation, and since the errors were noticed too late, that is, information on the correction could have not been submitted to the potential buyers on time, Privatization Agency decided to postpone the auction. Deadline for purchase of documentation and submission of new applications will also be changed in the new public invitation.

People from the Factory of equipment claim that the potential buyers, which applied for participation in public auction, agreed with the new date of the auction because it is better for them that all irregularities are corrected before the takeover of the company. Factory of equipment and parts will be offered for sale in the package with Factory of Lacquer Wire. They were also sold in a package on May 31, 2007, by Swiss company CDI, but the purchase contracts for these two companies, parts of processing capacities of RTB "Bor", were broken two months later because the Swiss did not pay the price.
