Tenth Kustendorf January 16-21, 2017

The tenth Kustendorf International Film and Music Festival will be held from January 16 till 21, 2017, in Mecavnik. The jubilee edition of the festival, whose founder and artistic director is Emir Kusturica, will once again be dedicated to young filmmakers and world-renowned auteurs.

Since its foundation in 2007, numerous young artists who have made significant marks in film have gone through Kustendorf, which proves that the festival's aim to develop auteur film and support talented young directors is being accomplished year after year.

Kustendorf is one of the rare festivals where the exchange of energy between young and experienced artists is evident every step of the way. The festival's eminent guest have included Paolo Sorrentino, Nikita Mikhalkov, Johnny Depp, Jacques Audiard, Jim Jarmusch, Audrey Tautou, Gael Garcia Benal, Monica Bellucci, Aleksei Balabanov, Andrei Konchalovsky, Matteo Garrone, Berenice Bejo and many others.

Kustendorf 2017 will host renowned auteurs, actors and musicians, as well as numerous young filmmakers and film school students from all over the world.
