European Investment Bank interested in supporting privatization of Belgrade Airport

Vice President of the European Investment Bank (EIB), Dario Scannapieco, confirmed today that the bank was open for further support to projects in Serbia and ready to support the privatization of the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, reported the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure today.

Scannapieco talked in Belgrade to the state secretary at the ministry, Miodrag Poledica, about the progress of infrastructural projects in Serbia supported by the bank.

Poledica informed Scannapieco on the realization of the project of modernization and electrification of the Nis-Dimitrovgrad railway section, credited by the EIB.

There was also talk about the dynamic of road infrastructure projects, above all about the project of building the Nis-Merdare-Pristina highway, the report states.
