CapitalOne is becoming market maker for shares of Sojaprotein and Veterinary Institute from Subotica

The Investment company CapitalOne a.d. Beograd will operate in market making activities on shares of Becej-based Sojaprotein and Veterinary Institute from Subotica, starting November 28, 2016, according to the Belgrade Stock Exchange.

Trading at BSE thus gets three securities with signed market making contracts whic is at the same time the first market making contracts at the local capital market since 2011.

The role of market makers is to ensure required minimum threshold of liquidity for securities for which a member has a contract, facilitating trading in these securities and increasing investor’s confidence by reducing risk of liquidity and lowering implicit transaction costs.With this move the investment company CapitalOne, one of the most active members of the Belgrade Stock Exchange in the past, will further strengthen its investment activity offer at domestic capital market, and thus contribute to development of this segment of the financial market, according to the statement of the Exchange.At the same time, it is expected that this move leads to liquidity increase in trading on selected securities – shares of Sojeproteina from Becej and Veterinary Institute from Subotica.
