Auctions for sale of 12 companies postponed until May 23

Privatization Agency has postponed the auctions for sale of 12 companies, among which are "Reko" from Bor, "Interagent", "Energo-beoinženjering", "Beoprevoz", "Yugradis" from Belgrade, until May 23rd.

The auctions for sale of Belgrade-based companies "Mirna trgovina", "Hidrogradnja-komerc", "Seminarna", "Beoinduplati", as well as company for "rent-a car", tourism and trade "Niš herc" from Niš and Veterinarian Station Kraljevo, have also been postponed.

Most auctions were scheduled for March 21st and, according to the Privatization Agency, political situation in the country and commencement of election process are not the reasons for postponement. The reasons are of technical nature and they are different for each of the companies.

By the way, since the beginning of this year, 31 auctions have been either postponed or cancelled. Total of 23 auctions were postponed or cancelled in February, as well as 17 auctions in March.
