Yazaki pours EUR 25,1 m in Sabac-based plant - Vacancy for 1.700 people

State Secretary Dragan Stevanovic, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, has today signed an investment agreement with the Director of the Japanese company Yazaki Notbrukom, Claus Patrick Nottbrock, which will invest EUR 25.1 m in the first stage and employ 1,700 workers in Sabac. The company will produce cable kits for Daimler trucks in this town.Stevanovic then said the Serbian government succeeded in providing conditions so that Yazaki comes to Serbia to invest and provide jobs for 1,700 our citizens, which is what citizens of Sabac and Macva have been waiting for 11 years, since the company showed interest in investing in our country.Yazaki is a global company based in Japan, primarily engaged in industry of automotive components. Major part of production program refers to electronic components installed in cars and systems for power transmission.They have manufacturing facilities in 44 countries and 444 manufacturing and other locations, with nearly 280,000 employees globally. Yazaki Europe manages 33,000 employees in 21 countries and 18 production plants and five research and scientific centers. The company has several production facilities in Bulgaria and Romania, which employ about 7,000 workers in the country and only in 2014 the company achieved revenues of USD 13.8 billion.
