Hundred birdhouses for city birds

Company "Delta Maxi Group" has organized the campaign for installation of birdhouses for small city birds, mainly for titmice, along Belgrade's pedestrian walks. Realization of this campaign is backed by Public Utility Company "Zelenilo Beograd" and the League for Orynthological Campaign of Serbia.

Total of 100 birdhouses, made according to recommendations of the Orynthological League, have been installed in ten parks and pedestrian walks in Belgrade (Small and Large Tašmajdan, Topčider Forest, pedestrian walk from Hotel Jugoslavija to Ušće, Zemun park, park Manjež, pedestrian walk from Block 45 to Block 70, Zvezdara forest, Šumice, Pionirski park).

This campaign is in accordance with the strategy of socially responsible operations that, among the rest, implies greater care and protection of environment. According to the latest data, 120 bird species live in urban zones and smaller parks on the territory of Belgrade, while nearly 200 bird species live on War Island.
