"Comtrade" submitted obligatory bid for Slovenian "Hermes SoftLab"

- Serbian IT group "ComTrade" submitted the obligatory bid yesterday (March 18, 2008) for takeover of Slovenian software company "Hermes SoftLab" - Slovenian company announced.

People in "HERMES SoftLab" say that the merging of companies "ComTrade" and "HERMES SoftLab" will result in forming of the company that will become the leading player on the territory of the Adriatic region, that is, southeast Europe, thanks to its large presence on the market, number of employees, business indices, comprehensive offer, etc.

- That will be an excellent platform for our further growth, expansion of operations to include the markets of the Adriatic region, western Europe, USA and the Near East. According to the plan, the Group will have 1,600 workers, total incomes in amount of 300m EUR, and it will be present, through its offices, in 14 countries - people from Slovenian company announced.

Legal-formal position of "HERMES SoftLab" will remain unchanged after the merger, and different ownership structure will enable quicker development of services and solutions.
