Candy from Sabac for entire region – Gold-Pack building facilities in Northwest Work Zone

Mayor Nebojsa Zelenovic visited, on Friday, November 11, along with his associates, the Sabac-based company Gold-Pack, which has decided to operate in the Northwest Work Zone in the city. Gold-Pack is one of 30 companies from Sabac who have decided to raise their facilities at this location in the past year and a half, reports the website of the local self-government. The company has operated successfully since 2003, and it produces confectionery products.

– The company will aim to produce candy for all markets in the region. It is very important to have such companies in Sabac – small, stable, but very flexible and capable, with serious entrepreneurs willing to take the matter into their own hands. The city can and should help them, and this has been our policy from the start – Zelenovic said during the visit.

He pointed out that businessmen from Sabac had full support from the local self-government and that they were just as important as large foreign investors.

Associate for economy at the mayor's cabinet, Violeta Sestic, said that few places in Serbia provided conditions for raising facilities as good as those in the Northwest Work Zone in Sabac.

– What makes Sabac a good place to invest in is the fact that we're not selling bare land, but completely infrastructurally equipped land at the most favorable price in Serbia. Furthermore, efficient procedures, as well as providing guidance to the investor through all the stages if the implementation of the investment, cause businessmen to invest their capital in Sabac – Violeta Sestic concluded.
