Italy, Partner-Country: Building Together – We present eKapija's third Special Issue

The business portal eKapija, in cooperation with ICE, the Italian Trade Agency, has published the third Special Issue of the newsletter Italy, Partner-Country: Building Together.

Through investments in Serbia, Italian companies have established a solid foundation for the cooperation between the two countries. The conference Italy and Serbia – Building Together, held in the second half of October in Belgrade, is another proof of the mutual dedication to joint operations in the construction sector. The conference was organized by ICE, with the help of the Embassy of Italy in Serbia, to the end of providing support to Italian companies interested in the Serbian construction market and cooperation with Serbian companies.

This Special Issue presents the conclusions reached at the conference, the ideas presented, as well as activities and projects of international organizations – the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the EU Delegation to Serbia and the European Investment Bank (EIB) – presented at the event.

The current information on the state of the Italian construction sector, as well as cooperation with Serbian companies, can be read about in the interview with the president of the international group for small and medium enterprises of the Italian Construction Contractors Association (ANCE), Gerardo Biancofiore, and the president of the Italian Trade Association for Engineering and Technical-Economic Consultancy Work (OICE), Gabriele Scicolone, as well as the interview with the director of ICE, Giovanni Mafodda.

We are also presenting the interview with Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic, who told us about the construction of new highway sections and gave an overview of the cooperation with Italian companies.

We are also providing insight into the past 65 years of Energoprojekt to our readers, as well as further plans of one of the most successful Serbian construction companies, operating in more than 75 countries worldwide.
