Ministers of agriculture of Serbia and Hungary discuss investments in manufacturing industry

Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Serbia Branislav Nedimovic talked, on Monday, November 7, in Budapest, with Minister of Rural Development of Hungary Sandor Fazekas about options for the Hungarian ministry's help in drawing investors to Serbia in the area of the manufacturing industry.
Nedimovic pointed out that the Serbian delegation had also talked to representatives of the Payment Agency of Hungary about the professional help the agency could provide regarding the accreditation of the Directorate for Agrarian Payments in order for Serbia to be able to access the IPARD funds in 2017.
– We have agreed on their providing professional help regarding the process of the accreditation of the Directorate for Agrarian payments and the technical help regarding the implementation of side products of animal origin, and we also presented them with possibilities of investments in the area of the manufacturing industry in Serbia – the Serbian minister said for Tanjug.
He emphasized that the organization of joint meetings with potential investors had also been agreed.
– The talks have been very useful and we have agreed on several things which are to be discussed at the joint session of the governments of Serbia and Hungary in November 21 and 22 in Nis – Nedimovic said.
