Unsuccessful tender for "Zorka" from Šabac - British "MDIL" did not meet requirements

Tender Committee for joint sale of 100% of public capital of Stock Company "Zorka Holding" in restructuring, Stock Company "Zorka-Obojena metalurgija" in restructuring and Stock Company "Zorka - Mineralna đubriva" in restructuring from Šabac, stated yesterday (MArch 12, 2008) that the tender was unsuccessful.

According to the announcement of the Privatization Agency, the Tender Committee stated that there were some obstacles preventing the only bidder, "MDIL" from Great Britain, from becoming the buyer of the subject capital.

The aforementioned company was the only bidder that submitted the bid for procurement before the deadline (December 14, 2007), but on the basis of the analysis of supplementary qualification and submitted documentation and the opinion of the Agency's adviser, it has been decided that there are some obstacles and the committee made unanymous decision to declare the tender unsuccessful.
