AIK Banka profit in first nine months RSD 5.2 billion

Belgrade's AIK Banka continued making profit in the third quarter, reporting the gross profit of RSD 5.2 billion in the first nine months, a growth of 31.4% compared to the corresponding period of 2015. When it comes to the bank's main activities, there have been no big changes regarding profitability.

The net interest income increased slightly to RSD 5.4 billion, whereas the F&C income increased by 1.6% to RSD 660.3 million. The biggest contribution to the growth of profitability was made by positive net provisioning at RSD 1 billion, compared to the loss of RSD 162.9 million in the first nine months of 2015. AIK Banka's assets amounted to RSD 175.3 billion at the end of September, a drop of 2.1% from the beginning of the year, Wisebroker reports.
